Atlas Foundation to Donate Meet for the Homeless

Atlas Foundation donated 80 pounds of stew beef to the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless in Baton Rouge on November 30, 2012.

Atlas estimates that the meat donation will produce 200 meals for the homeless. The Foundation had also delivered food donations to the Salvation Army and the Capital Area Alliance for the Homeless after Hurricane Isaac in 2012.

Atlas Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization founded in Louisiana in 2002 by members of the Turkish American community and their American friends. The goal of Atlas Foundation is to foster interfaith and intercultural understanding by creating opportunities for communication, education and shared experiences among people of diverse faiths and cultures. Atlas hopes that these programs will help to build communities of peace and social harmony at all levels of society.
Atlas Foundation thanks its members and the community for their ongoing support.
