Atlas Foundation hosted 2012 Turkey Trip Pre-Planing and Reunion Dinner on Wednesday, March 21. Atlas welcomed friends who joined Turkey Trips in previous years and those who would like to join this year’s Turkey Trip which will take place between July 1-11.

The program started with advisory board member Donna Mumfrey’s opening speech. The new director of Atlas Foundation, Emrah Aktepe, was introduced to the guests. On all the tables there were people who visited turkey before and those who are planning to visit in 2012. Experienced ones shared their experience and answered the questions. Delicious food from Turkish cuisine was served at the dinner.

2012 Turkey Trip will be between July 1st and july 11th. We are planning to visit Istanbul, Konya, Cappadocia, Kayseri and Izmir. Some of the places we are going to visit are Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, Bosphorus, Ephesus, House of Virgin Mary, Basilica of St. John, Tomb of Rumi, underground cities in Cappadocia, Mount Erciyes etc.
