Atlas Foundation Baton Rouge hosted a BBQ party on May 12th for the Atlas Turkey Trips Alumni at the Atlas Center, 7712 Goodwood Blvd.

“I could smell it from the library” (down the block) said Sue Webb who traveled to Turkey with two of the Atlas Turkey Trip groups in 2007 and 2009. While friends were eagerly waiting for delicious BBQ to be served, they had a nice conversation in the backyard. Sharing great stories about different sites of Turkey took everybody back to those days. Presenting a red rose to each lady for the celebration of Mother’s Day (which was the day before this gathering) made the program more meaningful, not only for the mothers but also for all participants.
