Annual Dialogue and Friendship Dinner 2010 New Orleans

Atlas Foundation New Orleans hosted the 7th Annual Friendship & Dialog Dinner at the The Creole Queen in New Orleans on Tuesday, November 9, 2010. Guests included leaders from civic, academic, and religious institutions in the greater New Orleans area as well as friends and volunteers of Atlas Foundation, who gathered to share the meal and the evening in a spirit of fellowship and community.

Mr. Richard Bienvenu served as moderator for the program that began with Interfaith Invocations.  Speakers included Cathie Eustis, who welcomed guests and talked about Atlas purpose and programs, and Dr. Robert Mann, from LSU, who spoke about the Gulen Movement.

Members of the Louisiana House of Representatives, Mr. Austin Badon, Sharon Broome who also spoke, and David W. Welker, Special Agent in Charge, honored us by attending the event and thanked Atlas Foundation for its efforts in bringing together the diverse population of our community. Guests were treated to an authentic Turkish Calligraphy and live Turkish music.
