A Crash Course in the Best of Woman’s Health by Miranda Brown, CNM

Topics to include: Adolescent Health, Nutrition, Hormone and Endocrine Imbalance, Birth Control, Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Menopause , Lots of time for Q&A

Miranda is a certified nurse midwife trained in well woman care throughout the lifespan including pregnancy. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in 2008. She obtained both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2013 and 2014, respectively. Her practice philosophy is to provide women with evidence based options through shared health care decision making. Topics of most interest to Miranda are research, infertility, breastfeeding, and pregnancy.   In her down time, Miranda loves to travel the world as much as possible. She enjoys repurposing objects and spends the Saturday mornings that she has off going to yard sales. Passionate about giving back she is an active member of Forum 35’s service committee and is planning a humanitarian trip to Uganda and Ghana in 2017.   Miranda’s greatest joy comes from being the mom to her two young boys, Logan and Duncan.
